Day 1

Free time for a walk along the streets of Narni's historic centre. Guided tour of the underground city, a place rich in legends, secrets and mysteries dating back to the period of the dreaded Tribunal of the Holy Inquisition. Accommodation in an agriturismo. Dinner based on typical Umbrian products with wine tasting. Overnight stay.

2nd day

Departure from Narni by pedal-assisted bicycle, accompanied by our qualified guide, to the Albornoz Fortress. Then we will descend to the cycle path that follows the course of the River Nera, inside the deep rocky gorges it crosses before flowing into the Tiber. The ruins of the Augustus Bridge from the Roman era can be admired. On the way, we will come across the small border of Stifone, which can be accessed by means of a footbridge. This small and characteristic village overlooks a stretch of river with crystal-clear waters due to the presence of particular springs of great flow. Oil and wine tasting with light lunch. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Free time for a walk in the Cardona forest, near the Roman bridge of the same name, a magical place that has been identified as the geographical centre of Italy. Possibility of outdoor activities on request.
