Description of steps:
-locating the hive within the farm
-learning and observation of the world of bees with the aid of an educational beehive
-tasting and manipulation of hive products
Timing and tools of the topics:
-welcome: quick illustration of the farm and identification of each child present (30')
-exploration of the world of bees around an educational beehive (1-2 h)
-presentation of beehive products and tools useful to the beekeeper (30')
-tasting of honey after witnessing honey extraction (30')
-wax manipulation (1-2 h)

Methods:
The children, with the help of an educational beehive, a microscope and images (photos and videos) will explore the bee kingdom. This will be followed by honey tasting and the involvement of the class in manual processing activities and playful entertainment.
